I just received my purple belt a few weeks ago, did it in 3 years! I'm always very impressed at the level of technique and poise that your students display in these videos. Congratulations to the above bjj practitioner for being promoted to purple belt. Also props to Roy Dean on building a successful academy and being a positive influence in others lives.

My BJJ instructor doesn't have tests for belt promotion. I think they are probably more for ceremony or anything else. I'm always impressed at how fluid Roy Dean and his students technique are. Great work. Keep it up. :)

The blue belt in the blue gi(also wore a beige one in the other vids) has really beautifull technique,and he always seems like he is giving less than 50%.
