  • Why do you import from Japan when the Gulf of Mexico (off Clearwater, Florida) is infested with them?

I've seen thousands of them just a few miles offshore.

  • hey V, hence the problem with wild caught, I dont have a boat and i dont live in Florida. maybe you should go into business collecting and selling them as theres a shortage.

  • aren't moon jellyfish supposed to be in temperatures around 77 degrees?

  • hey R, there is something like 17 variations of Aurelia Aurita. the most common, as a result of public aquarium research, is the Japanese and NE Pacific specimens... which happen to be cold water or 55 to 60 degrees. only recently, mostlikely due to those who dont want to use a chiller, are some warm water variaties being sold.

  • Is there a good website where I can learn about keeping a jellyfish tank?

  • hey D, send me an e-mail and I will provide you with some articles I previously wrote.
