@AllstarHunE reading skills my good man, he remembers everthing before the flop and after, how you bet how you react on the bet of Phil, limping then a big all in at the end...., if you never did that with a good hand before Phil can read that...

@MarkMC00 what happens when he is 66, he is gonne retired poker, rofl =)
-
"my instincts said 'if you fold you lose'"
thats kind of the point of folding........
-
@MarkMC00 hahhahaha so true
-
@alliancesuxftw An all in bet is usually a big hand or a bluff.
-
@AllstarHunE youre an idiot. phil hellmuth will flop a flush and skullfuck you.
-
@MarkMC00 Accually, hes done this in many occasions. Phil always thinks the bluff gets the better of him so I've seen him call stupid hands before and loose. Then blows up.

"My instincts said if you fold you lose." Best line ever! xD
Regardless of Phils poker attitude, that had to be one of the best calls I've ever seen him make. The only problem now is that he'll talk about it until hes 65 years old.

@TheInadequacy
calling with pair of 8, with whats on the board, is absolutely greedy and unreasonable. Tran could have been floating with flush draw or 5/2, have pair of As or Ks. Hellmuth's success in the pot was sheerly driven by his ego. Hellmuth obviously can't keep up with contemporary poker scene, but he had a lucky win here. bad but lucky.
I took poker 1000 ;). Where u at?
