This project explores the experiences of adults and parents of children on the autism spectrum. We have filmed over 60 people talking about their experiences. Here four people talk about Asperger syndrome and feeling different. The finished project is online at www.healthtalkonline.org. The website currently has over 30 collections of personal experiences of health and illness including depression, pregnancy, cancers, epilepsy, mental health, diabetes, hypertension and living with dying.

  • Get the free booklet from the dept of the health and human services web site. It goes into more detail and mentions other spectrums such as Tourettes Syndrome, Autism and has some notes on schizophrenia

  • This is very realistic - but autism is DIFFERENT than ASD's (Autism Spectrum Disorders such as Asperger's Syndrome). Comparing is pointless; they're just different. Ever see the vidoe on YouTube titled "In My Mind" by "olinkalex" ? This might help you understand.

  • @R0CC0R0SE THEY HAVE ASPERGER WHICH IS ALSO PART OF THE AUTISM DIAGNOSE THEY DO SUFFER A LOT. SINCE THEY CAN TALK THEY CAN ASK AS WELL AND THAT IS WHAT MAKE IT MORE HARDER SINCE IS SO HARD FOR THEM TO UNDERSTAND CERTAIN THINGS EVEN THOUGHT THEY ARE EXTREMELY SMART.

  • @R0CC0R0SE It is just as realistic, comparatively, as other videos that only portray people afflicted with those afflicted with Rett syndrome or classical autism. The video is about life on the autism spectrum, and considering that people afflicted by Pervasive Developmental Disorder - not otherwise specified, as well as those afflicted with aspergers are a part of the autism spectrum, this video does not make false, or unrealistic, claim.

  • I started taking Levodyn because i was keen to bring my blood pressure down without resorting to prescription medicine. i have been taking it for less than 4 weeks but have already noticed a change. Before taking Levodyn my blood pressure was 152/86, it is now 128/76. i am really impressed.

  • Great video and good to create awareness

  • Very representative. A good intro and very humane.

  • Fanatastic!!! so pleased to see part of the project, what a taster- can't wait to see it all in July. Great Work!

i'm pleased to have been a part of it...
