Soul Gypsy 03 - the first rehearsal

The majority of Soul Gypsys members have emigrated to Australia from eastern European and Balkan countries, whilst the Australian born members trace their heritage to the same region.
The ensemble draws on a combined musical experience of over 100 years and thousands of years of cultural heritage to create dynamic performances that will have their audiences enraptured.
For Soul Gypsy the joy is in the performance, music is not about a career, music is in their blood, they are truly musicians by nature.
Soul Gypsy is a community project of the Brisbane Institute of Strengths Based Practice that is part of a broader nurturing strategy to strengthen and promote the diversity of our Queensland community through the preservation of the arts and culture heritage. http://www.strengthsbasedpractice.com.au/
