Dan Scott is the man we all love to hate, and hate to love.
I love him so much, he's one of my favorite characters.
He was so close to death since season one, and in this episode I hoped he would not die, but Mark made an incredible job.
The way he rapresented Dan's death was PERFECT, and I do believe that, in death, he finally redeemed himself.
So 9x11, immediately, became my favorite episode EVER.
I loved Dan's confession about Keith murder, cause I've always wanted his pain to be understood, not that it's okay what he did but understand him. I loved his scenes with Haley, Jamie and Lydia, Deb, but I really loved the final scene between Nathan and Dan on the River Court.
I waited for so long to watch Nathan talk to Dan and finally forgive him.
Dan made a lot of really horrible mistakes and you could hate him for whatever reason, shooting Keith, being mean to Lucas, leaving Deb, but he has also been the hero.
He saved Lucas from the car accident. He saved Jamie from nanny Carrie. He saved the Scotts from Renee and in this season we have all loved him for saving Nathan. Dan wanted to save him from the first second he heard that Nathan was kidnapped. Like Deb said, any good Dan has ever done has been for Nathan.
I loved the way Mark gave Dan so many different ways to affect people's lives before he goes out. The lessons that he imparts on Chris, or Julian, or even Haley, which I think is one of the most fascinating relationships in the piece for nine years and I'm so glad that Mark gave Dan such a wonderful and powerful storyline this season.
I think that Dan Scott will forever be in our hearts ♥
