SRI and NYSAR Special New York Home Ownership Survey Part 1

Part 1 of 4 from a Siena College Research Institute and NYSAR sponsored survey on Opinions about Home Ownership, Home Values, and Biggest Concerns with Owning a Home.

A total of 1,015 New York State residents participated in the survey. Respondents provided views on the value of home ownership, intent to purchase a home or business property, and opinions about Realtors.

The survey also measured opinions on home owner issues such as mortgage, property tax and maintenance costs, the importance of location, and what the government's role should be in home ownership.
