Yeah, i mean you look at the last 2 deaths, Kalitta hits a wall at the end of the track and Mark Niver loses his chutes, hits the catch nets at the end of the track which kill him, then the NHRA shortens the length of the race because thats what puts people in danger.....give me a break, its obvious that the tracks arent built to save someone if they are in deep trouble.

no it hasn't... I have raced there for over 10 years, I can think of THREE bikes that have crashed on turn one and all the riders were just fine. There is a TON of run-off there. It's a beautiful turn, one of the fastest turns on earth actually. I love this track. It's easy, but it is SUUUUPER fast !

The track configuration is really good there. I don't even watch drag racing but saw Kalitta's fatal crash. All tracks should have a really far run off. Doesn't have to be a turn, but a really far run off.
