80 Goan Artists gathered at "Paint Your Freedom" unique art camp organised by Vinsan Graphics under the guidance of senior artist Rajendra Usapkar, at the footpath opposite ESG Complex in Panjim, on 12th January 2012 from 2 pm to 8 pm. The grand show including nearly half a dozen large canvases was inaugurated by art lover and industrialist Narayan (Nana) Bandekar from Vasco. Artist Naguesh Sardessai compered the superb event, while cartoonist Alexyz and artist Yolanda addressed the gathering and expressed their tributes to famed Goan cartoonist Mario Miranda, the day being his 'month's mind' (one month since his death). Teenage musician Ashley Fernandes and his friends played some traditional Goan music.
