i know it sounds like a creepy stalker thing and i know matt said it was about missing someone, but to me it's about control. It's friends that are seen as out of control, and the narrator's attempt to take over.

This isn't about being creepy. It's about missing someone so much you wear their stuff, watch their videos, sleeping in their beds, eventually being them. That's what Matt said, anyways. How he doesn't want it to be about breaking and entering but instead, becoming someone you miss.
