A Mother's Day Ad gone horribly wrong.
A certain radio station who will not be named accidentally emailed me with a script for an ad on their radio station, thinking I was someone else.
Given to digital mischief, I felt it appropriate to modify the script and go back to them. I let them know they had the wrong email address as well.
Much to my, and a loy of other people's joy, they didn't actually realise they got the email address wrong and had created a demo of the ad.
The original script:
"Be crafty this Mother's Day!
Indulge mum's creative passion with a gift from Craft Mania.
They have everything from sewing box gift sets and fabric paints to Anchor tappisserie wools, porcelain dolls, haberdashery and an irresistible range of home-made Original Fudge -- from Irish Cream to Lemon Meringue, all gluten free ...even diabetic fudge.
Check out the Fudge Factor and a host of crafty gift ideas now at Craft Mania, the shop for Mums who are mad about crafts, (The address has been cut out)."
The funny part is that the remake of the script wasn't even questioned.. They just did it!
I had to tell them not to air the ad, because of I was worried about getting my ass sued.
Hahahaha, this is soo funny. I understand why they didn't catch it at first, you really have to pay attention to what she says. Otherwise, you probably wouldn't understand what's going on. Thank you for posting this!!
