Swedish car manufactures makes in my opinion the abolutley best commercials with the best music. That goes for both Saab & Volvo. Whatever happens to Saab, this is a sweet car. I want one!

I have just bought a Saab 9-5 sedan Vector 2ltr Diesel. Love it! But I do not seem to have the day running light shown at :10secs - ?? It is not in options in menu setting for car either. Car built Nov 2010. Did they change spec after?

According to an analysis made some months ago, SAAB Automobile and its suppliers only made up for a mere 1% of the total Swedish GDP prior to the most recent crises.

So being Swedish, I have no doubts our economy will continue being characterized by tremendous strength and success (despite the huge sums we North European tax payers have to hand over to the lazy Greeks annually).

But if SAAB would be shut down it would make me feel very sad as a car enthusiast. Even though I drive a Volvo..

@AskForCarl men jag ser inte hur VI förlorar någonting på att SAAB går i konkurs bara 1 år senare... skattepengarna som vi plöjt in i SAAB har vi ändå redan förlorat. tekniken och fabriken är inte värd tillräckligt för att betala tillbaka stödlånen... så då kan vi lika gärna låta, antonov eller varför inte kineserna plöja in ytterligare miljarder i bolaget och hoppas att deras nya helt egna SAAB kommer slå och bli en lika stor hit som 92, 900 o 9000. säg mig vad har vi att förlora på det?

@AskForCarl och innan du påpekar igen hur lite jag kan om ekonomi så var miljarderna räknat i svensk valuta.

Om det är någon som inte har koll så är det väl ändå du?!

Jag tänker inte sluta rösta och kommer fortsätta vara lika aktiv i politik som jag är nu.. jag tror inte för fem öre att du är så mycket mer bright än mig när det kommer till vare sig politik eller ekonomi..du är välkomen att få bevisa motsatsen

@TheBeeeee Saab has sold whatever culture they had, none of the "Swedish Quality" stamp is left in the brand, it's exactly like hummer was - expensive yet the quality is rock bottom.

Saab has patents/factories worth more then the total stock value, which is why the new owner isn't just accepted right away. Antov has been involved in similiar companies and cashed in on their bankruptcy. Which is why EIB, GM and Sweden was/is hesitant to him.
