If you go into the xli files and find the cars, change the MISC_TYPE to ENGINE_TYPE and they will move along track.

I bought and downloaded Rule the Rail with the layout viewer !There is no way I can get any cars to go ,would be nice to know how to do it!

For those of you sending PMs asking for Key codes here's how to do it.
Go to the Brain Bomber's web site (authors of the program), have $19. (US) ready and fill out the registration form. You will magically receive the secret number to unlock all that Rule the Rail offers!
Now stop asking me for something I consider to be illegal and dis-honorable!
