The world around us testifies to the fact that this one event changed the very face of this planet. Everywhere we look we see the results of sin because of the judgment of God so that all, in our day, are without excuse. Are we rapidly following in the footsteps of the pre-flood world? Is there a door of probation open for us? Is there an ark of safety God has given us before probation closes for the world and His judgments fall?

Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 2 Peter 3:6, 7

Gods mercy is extended today to all of us. A world needs to be warned just as it did in Noahs day. Now is the time that a message like this should be presented as our Great High Priest is still officiating in the Heavenly Sanctuary.

  • What i dont like about some people is that they have to see destruction in order to repent, but Yeshua said that it will be like in the days of Noah, people were drinking and getting Married. This could happen at any moment.

  • @miketonon Ah, but the first part of wisdom is knowing that you are ignorant. That's always a good place to start from. Being humble before what the facts actually are, and not coming at them with preconceived notions, or other bias is a challenge for all of us. The question is can you set aside what you believe and just go on the data? Because, there's a whole planet's crust worth of it.

  • @NorthForkFisherman, continue if you want, but I research alot of things, I couldn't possibly cover everything. I'd like to, but this is just kind of a hobby. I have a day job and other things I have to do. It seems like the more info I come across, the less I know anyways.

  • @miketonon Then perhaps, this is a good time to start. look for data that cites the original source, look for things that make you ask questions as to why? And look for things that cover all the data and what it means, not just those sources that cherry pick info. As an example we could look at a single formation that contains about 9 trillion cu meters of salt and use that to understand why a literal interpretation of the Genesis flood is found to be false. Shall I continue?

  • @NorthForkFisherman, I think you're right about genesis, alot of other content in the bible and other religious books, but I've heard evidence both proving the flood and disproving. Which is the truth, I don't know, I'm not someone who has actually looked into it very much.

  • @miketonon Now as far as veracity of source....the same applies to every so-called "holy book". In this case, the literal interpretation of Genesis. Upon careful examination of all the data, ALL OF IT, the idea of a global flood is revealed to be false. True, there have been great floods in human history, and things tend to be distorted over the tellings, esp in a oral tradition, but the facts are clear. No global flood as describe by Genesis. Period. End of line.

  • @NorthForkFisherman, proven reliability of the source? Sounds like a perfect formula to be decieved! Just because someone tells the truth many times, doesn't mean that they always will. I have no data that a person who thinks like you do would probably even glance at.

  • @miketonon I review the data and based on both the logic and where necessary, the mathematics involved, accept it based on that as well as the proven reliability of the source. A critical, skeptical mind requires these caveats. Now, I do notice that you are evading answering my question. Do you have verifiable data that supports your statement or not?

  • @NorthForkFisherman,... you just except what you are told is a fact, as a fact?

  • @NorthForkFisherman, first of all, the first thing I said was, "I've heard", that should be clear enough for you, if you are capable of thinking for yourself. I never said what I stated there after that it was absolutely true. I simply don't know. I mention things in hopes that it will spur discussion and maybe both or all parties will learn something.

Secondly, you claim your responses are always based on facts. Do you mean to say you know everything about what you're saying or...
