I love the book series, I always hoped for a Movie...but they fucked it up, ruined my dreams.

hapidth if u read the book u would know that the vampires didnt have fangs. and i dissage with your rate. i give it a 2 out of 100. they didnt even try to follow the book. and i want know how long it took that girl to interview the people and actually get a good review. and if the people who did like it actually read the fuckin book. i loved that book when i was in grade school. and i was excited to see the movie. i saw it and i almost shit myself seeing how much they didnt follow the story

just got done watching it and it was okay not that great. I feel like the direction of the movie was weird and i felt like the antagonist wasn't much of one. I was a little disappointed that his friend didnt join the rest of the freaks but i guess that might happen in the next movie if they make one, also i wish they would of made them look a little bit more vampire like..i mean at least give them fangs like real vampires! anyway i give the movie 5 out of 10.

I feel like crying! I waited over a year for it! I took my husband with me to see it. He's dyslexic and hasn't read the books. I wanted to share my passion of Darren Shan with him... and then we saw this bullshit. Throughout the film I was pointing out all the things that were wrong with it.

Surprisingly though, my hubby though it was quite good... I had nothing to say to this so didn't speak to him for the rest of the evening, but I can see how someone that hasn't read the books would enjoy it

@Froststripe14 I imagined Mr.Crepsley as the lead vampire in 30 days of night, but with less blood, and can speak english and isnt a bloodthirsty maniac...
