Funny how everyone seems to rag on MT for standing still, yet no one mentions BW. MT was focused on his guitar playing, leaving the gyrations to the Glimmer Twins who are much more comfortable moving around.

As long as Keith could stand they were the greatest band on earth in 72. But Brian and Keith Stewart made it possible. It was military when they were putting it in face of the Scottish celts in 64. You say Brian lacked courage. He put in their face straight up for four years. You can't ask for more. But Bitch,Let it Bleed and Give me Shelter are the start of real hard rock and modern world. Keith you are the toughest cunt on earth even though you are a pussy.

@zunk11 thats because Mick was more concerned with sounding like an f'ing guitar god, which he was, and propelled the stones to greatness during what was by far their greatest song writing period.

Mick Taylor pumped more LIFE into the Stones than any other guitar player. Period.

That's about the most lifeless looking lead guitarist I've ever seen on a stage, esp. with the Stones!

dont be given credit for writing songs and generally unappreciated and you would leave any band. the stones just didn't give taylor his due so what do you expect?
