  • When you install the garage door opener, you are supposed to install the arm no lower than the top rollers. But, put it too high and the arm (black bar) will smack into the strut.

  • I have a stupid question. How did you know how far down to attach that hanging part on to the door? Only watched this once. I think you had it screwed into the third hole from the top. Why did you put it there instead of the 1st, 2nd, or 4th?

  • If I could make a suggestion, go to a hardware store and buy some punched steel angle and replace the old brackets at the powerhead with the punched steel angle. The stuff that comes with the opener isn't really good. I can even see this on the horizontal crossing bracket(it is bent) and the puched steel angle is much stronger.

  • Ill tell u why it quiet working is because it was a genie!
