SON-OF-GUN; JUST MADE IT!!! In 1955 "Ain't That A Shame" peaked at No. 10 thus just making the Billboard's Top 10 and it spent a total of 13 weeks in the Hot Top 100...
Also in 1955 Pat Boone covered this record; and it reached No. 1. Mr. Boone at first wanted to change the title to "Isn't That A Shame" but decided against it..
Also covered by Cheap Trick {#35/1979} & Four Seasons {#22/1963}...
Fats, himself, performed this song in the 1956 movie "Shake, Rattle, & Roll'...

A lot of people seem to think I started this business, but rock 'n' roll was here a long time before I came
along. Nobody can sing that kind of music like colored people. Let's face it, I can't sing like Fats Domino” Elvis ( from music college's lecture notes..)

I'm learning this at my school of sound engineering. Important figure for the boogie woogie and Rock & Roll. Great tune : )
