I using ESEII and i wanna port the Dust Hill Level in to Emerald Hill. When klick on Save to Rom saying ESEII: Cannot create
C:/Users/...../Desktop/Sonic2.

Most of your background is black. To chaange that, go into the level editor, and scroll until the numbers read 4000xxxx or more (x being anything) then start piecing together your background here. That's where Sonic 2 stores the background.

O. Yea I know what you talking bout. Do you know any good way to put Hidden Palace track for sonic and knuclkes in it without deleting the other tracks and any good app to import more levels?

Godd for a first try. Your using ESEII, right? A few tips. At 4000 onwards (debug co-ordinates) is where the bg is stored, put your bg tiles there. Change the first palette line back to the same as the original. It should look a fair bit better.

Yea Im using ESEII. Im new with the hex and all of that. what do you mean by the bg tiles?
