James Wong is the eldest of five brothers. Their two restaurants have made the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain an unlikely target for Chinese food lovers in New Orleans. He opens our feast with a spin on the classic winter melon soup, except he uses an acorn squash.

i have a hard time calling this soup. its merely stock with a scallop and mushroom thrown in. this is not innovative or creative.
