AU: Dan wants to be the one for Blair, but after her breakup with Nate, she just can't move on yet, despite her best efforts. Although this brings Dan much frustration, he is always there for her. He even goes and tells Nate how much he really messed up with Blair and how much he hurt her, but uknowingly to him, that was a big mistake. This causes Nate to try and reconcile with Blair, which leaves Dan heartbroken. He still holds onto his patience and faith and hopes that one day Blair will realize her heart belongs to him...
