you missed the biggest indicator of all! in episode 8 when Sophia lies down in the middle of town due to boredom, greg comes by and lies down on top of her. This gets her highly excited and flirtatious watch?v=-gwgbGFhTbU 1:30-1:40

So now comes Greg. Sophia brings in facts, applies reason... and then Greg simply declares himself the winner of the argument and intimidates anybody who suggests otherwise. Sophia naturally tries to reason with him, but Greg isn't interested in reason. He doesn't care who's right. It's his way, right or wrong, because he says so, because he's bigger than you are. Greg wins. He is immune to reason.

And that turns Sophia's world upside down and makes her feel helpless.

The crying thing is perhaps the biggest clue, but there is another explanation for it.

Sophia values knowledge and reason. She gives the impression of a person who believes that you can THINK your way through any situation. For instance, the winner of an argument would be the one who could bring the most facts and the most reasoning to bear. The way to solve problems is by reasoning with people.

She's smart and confident and a free spirit. It makes sense that if she hasn't picked one guy that she would date around. This does not make her a slut. For one thing, it is possible to go on a date and not have sex.
