The River Lode in Cambridgeshire has had a watermill on this site since the Domesday Book of 1086. This mill dates from the 18th century and was restored in 1982 to full working order. Here you can see the quern post, cogs and wheels turning, the freshly ground flour, the mill pool and the waterwheel at rest.
