@Organsk8er Where is it written that only organs and chant are allowed in the Catholic Church? The Pope does not say that or he wouldn't listen to other Catholc music. God wants us to do the work of the Kingdom not put other Catholics down because they do not worship the same as you. Posts like this give the church a bad name. I wouldn't have become Catholic if all Catholics were as strict as you about worship music and Catholic music is what attracted to the church in the first place.

@korona141 Your question is not a simple question. You have a motive in asking that question. The guy answered you in the true Catholic answer but still judged because you want him to answer differently to satisfy your motive. If I ask you if you are a stupid person, it is like me telling you that you are stupid even you're answer is no. Be careful, the devil's biggest offense is deceit. Unless our mind and hearts are changed, we will sound like clashing cymbals and a noisy gong.

Thanks. You cannot answer a simple quiestion, you just spin around. Have a fun.
I got the annswer.
These really are very talented musicians, they sing/play well...however, it saddens me that this is what most people think Catholic music is. There really isn't much Catholic about this. The official instrument of the Catholic church is the PIPE ORGAN, and while I do like this song (not a hymn), the official music of the Catholic Church is still Gregorian Chant. To each their own, but there is no Catholic identity here. Could also be any mainline Protestant denomination. That's where we lost it.

@Organsk8er Thank you very much for your concern and it is a valid view. I have been a Catholic musician since I played organ at the age of 10. But our church is a progressive church. The scripture where most of our prayers are taken from says, sing a new song & play your timbrels & lyre. That is why we sing new songs but the lyre is not used now, as time goes on, musical instruments evolve. But God looks in our hearts when we offer sacrifice, with out partiality if we are Catholic or not.

@korona141 Still I don't get what you have in your mind. Am I a credible person if I am a Catholic and not if I am a Protestant? God looks in our hearts. If we accept Lord Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Saviour, we put our faith to action and walk in the Spirit, we'll make it. There are Catholics and as much Protestants who were able to make it in heaven, and sadly same who were not. Merry Christmas.

We are in Communion with the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit but in union with Peter... Where is Pete is the Church and there is no church without Peter. Seems to me that you are a catholic with Protestant theology. Go deeper to the Fathers of the Church 1-4 century, rather dig it in 16 th... God Bless you anyway...

@korona141 You are mixed up with your argument. Eucharistic Prayer is not in the Protestant service and also, we Catholic believe the communion of saints. Most denominations do not.The church is group of people that composed the body of Christ. Christ being the head and we are the body.
