  • @TheDarksiderxXx Hey how are you? I just have a question for you. Sorry if I sound dumb it is because

in 4 months me my husband and my brother we will move to Baton Rouge " I think if not to that city it will be somewhere in there, my Bro and Hubby will work painting that Huey P. long bridge , But I feel so unsure about living south I live now in PA and it is so far from here, SO I just wanted to know how good is to live in there, what about jobs, whether and living conditions.

  • To start with you really do not know the history of Louisiana from those days. Huey P. Long did more for the citizens in Louisiana then most politians in those days. He turned dirt roads to major highways. He made it possible for poor children to go to school and eat a free lunch. Thanks to him my mother and her people were able to enjoy an education. He made it possible for poor people to afford gas for heating and cooking. He builded the bridge not some person no one heard of. Read!

  • Should of been named after Huey P Newton. Such a more remarkable human of our time. Who cares about long ..

  • Great Post and Huey Long was the first Governor to appreciate this. An amazing man who did a lot of things for the state.
