Absolutely. Compared to other nations the U.S. has done a huge amount of good for the world since it's founding...

...but since when do we compare ourselves to other nations?

Listen, we installed a lot of these dictators to fight Commies, who are arguably the worst mass-murderes and misery-bringers in human history. BUT, we SHOULD HAVE removed them when the job was done.

Instead, crooked US politicians decided it was better to extract money from nations now under totalitarian rule.

The US government is bad, or at least the last 50-75 years we have been becoming more and more corrupt. BUT other governmets are just as bad. Believe the US people (at least the educated ones) Know that the government is corrupt and insane...if you look at the us history all the reveared presidents wanted to STAY OUT of wars...and recent presidents just rush into it.

Can you name one country that has killed more civilians than America has killed in the last 65 years? Can you name one country that has been bombing one country or another for more than 50 years? Can you name one country that has more than 700 military bases around the world?

Can you guess which country which spends such huge amounts of money on military that it's almost equal to the military spending of the rest of the world combined?

The looting and killing of other empires was never at the degree that it is today because of the disparity in technology of the Empire today vs its subjects. Now the Emperor has mercenaries that press a button from 100,000 feet and kill hundreds or thousands of "them" without having to face them, without having to see them dying.

I think there is a deference we can first recognize the difference between America and the United States. America is the glorious country we live in while the U.S. is the body of government that continues to commit atrocities against we the people and abroad.

Part of the beauty of America is a relative freedom of expression. It is very anti-American to just go along with what is said; however, it is very patriotic to talk about issues and act upon your dislike just as the founders did.
