1987 Happy Mother's Day Monica!

The boys and Rosa surprise Monica on Mothers Day. But Monica is called away to perform emergency surgery on Greta. Edward is "concerned" for Greta. Rosa has made many long-distance phone calls. Monica suggests she do chores and she will pay her so Rosa can pay for the calls. (edited most of it out).

yeah it wasn't all dramatics and off the wall crap. We got to see some special family moments doing everyday normal things.

I agree... I LURVED that *back when there were REAL writers on GH*...we got to see the FAMILIES do REAL FAMILY TYPE THINGS...like celebrate Mother's Day ...and the Qs would also celebrate birthdays *Monica's for certain was always celebrated*.

And just those little special...and not so special moments that we used to get between the parents and their kids...another example of this was Rick and Lesley and their brood...and Anna and Robin...and even Steve/Audrey/Tommy.

And I remember Rosa * I like to refer to her as Alan and Monica's FIRST "daughter"...whatever happened to her. She should come back.

It's amazing how mny times Alan and Monica opened up THEIR home to other people...or their kids.
