@AnotherSchmoe To be honest, FFI is probably my least favorite game in the entire series. I mean, yeah, it did start off Final Fantasy and all, but the gameplay has aged and it isn't that special anymore. The little amount of story it had was also pretty stupid. FFII did a much better job at keeping my interested, in the very least. And I can forgive FFIII for it's lack of a good story because the job class system made it's gameplay much more fun to play through.

Yeah. FF2 was actually a lot more enjoyable. Though you're right, they really didn't pick up a lot of steam until FF4.

@AnotherSchmoe You really shouldn't go into the NES games with high (or any) expectations for the story. I mean, I personally think that, for it's time, Final Fantasy II had a great story (remember, it was an NES RPG), but if you compare it to any Final Fantasy story from Final Fantasies IV and up, of course it won't look good. You should only go into Final Fantasies l-lll if you just like playing RPGs in general and/or just want to see the history of Final Fantasy.

There is no such thing as Level 99 in Origins, unless you are playing Easy mode.
Normal max level is Level 50.
