a nicer more modern friendly way to keep authenticity but step up the rythm is to think 60's ska/reggae, and rockabilly "boom-chukka" with slow hip-hop underlay, put those tpgether and thius stuff FLYs.
see what sone of dave of dave does with delta blues rythm, tho he is a little slower than this
he's on youtube too. he keeps the authenticity, but leaves old foggie rythms behind
