He sounds more like the people I don't listen to a lot - suggesting the similarities are only superficial. His Aaron Neville, for example contains all the usual ticks and cliches that people do when they do Aaron Neville - but it really sounds nothing like him. His Crash Test Dummies sounded more like Tom Waits. And so on.
