TCM (US) Feature Presentation Trailer

Trailer for Turner Classic Movies (TCM) "feature presentation", before the movie starts (from TCM US). Also there: Robert Osborne with his catch phrase "Hi I'm Robert Osborne".

Whoever made these interludes on TCM, should be awarded a prize. They are excellent, setting the right mood for the following program.

What I wanted actually to say: I am not sure TCM has such a building. I assume not; this building could be modelled on a typical art deco building from the 1920/30s, like the Buffalo City Hall or similar buildings.

Am not able to see TCM in UK, since it is only on Sky with subscription. So I am not able to judge the graphic design here... but I noticed in general that here in the UK there appears to be not much activity in keeping the classic movie tradition alive. They did (and do) have great actors, made very good films, but here is a true loss of valuing and loving the tradition and film heritage. So that is probably why there is not much of any good graphics on the TCM UK. Wish I could watch TCM US!

you are very lucky to be able to watch TCM! I am now living in "TCM diaspora" - here in UK TCM is only available through Sky satellite by subscription. And then it is only the European version - I assume that no Robert Osbourne is there...

I met him once in LA, at a poster signing event with Jane Russell. We had a nice chat all together (this was one of the highlights of my life!)

TCM in the UK for me is crap, the whole design is nothing related to classic films. I adore TCM in the USA

I LOVE this intro. Robert Osbourne is by the BEST HOST on television. I love him. I watch TCM all the time.
