Part 2 of programming a simple timer in QT4 with QDevelop and QT4 Designer. It has an area for seconds, minutes, and hours. The language used is C++ on a Compaq Presario F730 w/ 4GB ram Kubuntu 9.04 64bit. For those who think the interface is cool, it was done on only a Geforce Go 6100 128MB

  • Hi:

nice work dude... i just have one question...

    have you worked in kdevelop??

i'm been working a couple of days in it, but sometimes it is exhausting, which of the two is easier to program and has better features?

  • Yes, I have worked with Kdevelop. I used it for AVR code development. I found this to be more useful for QT app development however. This IDE is designed for people developing QT apps.

  • I assume Qt4 is not cross platform?

  • It actually is. I have not tried it but it will work with windoze as well as their main site claims

  • awesome stuff

  • And yes just a simple actual dictionary that when you search the word the program will find the meaning/s. It would be better to make it on Visual Studio, after all its more common, because I will share my software with my friends that uses only windows.

    Cheers.

  • Oh I really don't know if youtube can email you when you get a message. I generally check my inbox here and find my reply from others, like I did now. But I don't think it can be done because just imagine how many mails will send youtube on millions of comments? lol

  • Do you mean a code library or an actual dictionary? I can create a tutorial for a program that searches for thing by words and pulls up information about it. I could do it in QT or Visual Studio, I'm good with both. Another thing, is there any way to get youtube to email you when you get a message?
