In the dying embers of a burnt-out day,
When morning seems a thousand hours away,
Dark prevails and the light gives up the fight to stay.

The blackness thickens and surrounds,
Masking all but distant sounds,
I seek for thought to occupy still conscious mind.

Saw these fellows in Atlanta (Sports Arena) w/Eric Quincy Tate and Edgar Winter's White Trash. A monster, intimate show. Absolutely floored by Groundhogs - so much music and sound from three guys. Really takes me back. Peace.

Unbelievable, I was at at show also! Really one of the most memorable shows I've ever seen. Topped off by my father's station wagon being towed away by the APD, and his having to come help me claim it. Edgar Winter tore it up also. Thanks!

@papaedweirdo I remember walking round Underground Atlanta ( seem to remember a place called Sgt. Peppers ) went into a bar and saw a fine little band there. Edgar Winter band at that time was great , enjoyed our gigs with them.
