Seven's character was definitely more than just what was under the Bio Suit, Jeri portrayed her so well! She was both beautiful and complicated. A character to be treasured for sure :)

It's such a shame that the generations growing up now don't have such high caliber shows to relate to. I feel "Jersey shore" is a poor substitute.

@danalia ...any other crewmembers on voyager, no captain would do what J did for 7 if she was just a crewmember). The other is the EMH, which almost worked but was killed off near the end of season 7 when D comes clean with 7 (on his apparent deathbed) and 7 fails to reciprocate his feelings. Harry Kim (tried in revulsion) is not applicable as his role in the series was purely comedic as the 24th century epic fail of life (he got laid once and ended up with rad' poisioning as a result).

@danalia Chakotay despised 7/9 right from the start, he never trusted her, encouraged J to space her and then in endgame, started dating her. WTF? A 7/someone pairing was inevitable as she was discovering her humanity and love is considered one of the defining aspects of it (the reason vulcans have no emotion in ST). There were two characters with whom 7 had a relationship which could develop into romance: Janeway (don't give me grief on homosexuality anyone, those two were closer than...

I can't watch the end of the last season, when this 7/chakotay thing started. It feels so fu**ing wrong. I think nobody would have something against Janeway/Chakotay (so many hints in so many episodes..)
Seven shouldn't have any boy/girlfriend (would be interesing^^ but nahh).

She was a great character, its a pity some people couldn't see past the catsuit and that she still gets flak for it. It was all the producer's fault for dressing her so ridiculously in the end.
