great setup. saws like this one were very common around here. dont c too many of them being used anymore but everybodys got one in the back shed. I havent seen to many with a guard in front though. little safer then the belt and pully setup too.

@grandfatherjim i agree with you on this one. not as loud, safer, doesn't need to be sharpened nearly as often, and unless you feel like bending down all day, this is the way to go.

get a chainsaw man! Why would you want to have to pick up every single piece of long wood while it was being cut instead of just handling a chainsaw? I know all about saw rigs like this and they basically suck!

@1overthehillsfaraway I have a chainsaw. I want to pick up the wood so I don't have to be bent over all day. That's great that you know all about saw rigs like these, however, you don't know all about my back.
