it still works, yes you get the points, you can save and quit right after doing the exploit. the cap is 60 large if you wanna get flagged and reset by bungie, and put some skulls on, thats how you get points, your gettin puppy change dude.

if your points get low on the end you will eventually never get points for using explosive weapons and melee!!!!! so don't do this

Wait, after doing this, do you have to complete the mission to get the points? So every time you do this trick, you have to finish the mission?

Not sure if it's been said before but if you set yourself up to die by enemy fire or the blast from the target locator you don't have to go through save/quit and you'll get a bunch of grave kills
