I had a stroke several months ago; I was hospitalized 26 oct, 2007. I just want to share some of the pictures from that time.

Note that the picture with my backside scar was taken after my recovery, after it had healed.

  • whoa huhuhuhuhuh cool. what was it like

  • @SeriouslyPissedOff Awesome. Its like a combination of LSD and THC mixed with a waking dream. Scary as shit, but very interesting.

  • hi im a stroke survivor. i had a double anuerysm rupture, craniotomy and 40 angiograms. had to learn everything again. God bless you!

  • @amandaatpowerhouse Actually I only needed to learn to walk again. Everything else was just reduced in function. The actual damage is memory, in a way I am happy about it. My memory has always sucked, now I can just blame the stroke. ;)

Thank you for your thought. I hope you are doing well!

  • I feel sorry for you! I am 14 and worry about this stuff even though I have had CT scans and x rays they tell me my brain is healthy it STILL scares me I am happy I am healthy but I am still scared! The reason for the CT scan was because I was have sharp pains and dizzy ness it turned out to be a major ear infection I also have mold in the house and we have to move that causes the repeat sinus and ear infection! I hope I am healthy!

  • Part 3:

And don't feel sorry for me. My stroke was the best thing that has happened to me. I learned a lot from it, and it changed my life in a very interesting way. Instead, help those that need it, and focus on helping your own psychology, learning to deal with the good and the bad things in your own life.

I wish you luck in your life.

As a kid, you must not throw away your teen years with worry. Whatever is is, no matter how much you think about it. Learn to stop caring about stuff that is outside your control. If a comet comes towards earth with the potential to kill us all, and we find out it will hit in 10 years, then we need to find a way to enjoy those ten years before we die, not run around kicking and screaming. The comet doesn't stop because of that. So with everything else in our lives. :)

  • This is an awesome visual presentation. Thank you for this video. I agree with the comment below. You are helping get the message out not only about preventing stroke but also about recovering and dealing with its effects in a positive way.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. You have undoubtedly helped other people through the power of these images.

  • @Jessica141996 We all have issues with our health. Most people hide their flaws, but trust me, not a single human has "perfect health". Our bodies are complex and only a minor flaw can cause greater health issues. So what I am saying is that you have to learn to live with whatever issue you have, and try not to worry about it. If it turns out you are relatively healthy that's fine, but if you have issues, that's fine to! Do not worry about stuff that you cannot control yourself!
