Dogs and Cats in China (part 5 of 5)

The lady in the video is the manager of "Home of Love" - the largest animal shelter in China. She is a successful business woman and has been rescuing stray dogs and cats for almost 10 years in China.

The TV station is reporting her story of saving abandoned dogs and cats in China.

" The Home of Love" is the largest private animal rescue centre in CHINA. The shelter is located at Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The shelter does not receive fundings from the government. All operating costs are donated by pet lovers in China.

Currently the shelter houses over 1000 dogs and cats.

After the devastating earthquake in Beichuan County, the volunteers of the shelter rescued over 100 dogs and cats from the ruins.

To tell the truth, most Chinese people lover animals.

Eatting cats and dogs is a habit and culture in some northern and southern cities of China. And those who kill, abuse and eats cats and dogs are disliked and hated by other Chinese people.

thank for this film-I heard/saw this wonderfull woman about 2 years ago. Is she have forum in net?
