@Chaosslicer321 IF you are still interested 7 months later, Bay Shore has a practice group. Search "Tri-State Dagorhir" or "Dagorhir NY Tri-state Area" on Facebook and leave a note. We'll pick up on it and give you times and dates. The group that I started, the Bay Shore one, are all relatively new kids, average age being around 16 or 17 (with a few outliers naturally). We would love to have you and would certainly not shy away from helping you get better and getting started! PM me w/ questions.

@Chaosslicer321 Start your own. Like I've had to do with my group. Make flyers. Hicksville or not you'll get people it'll just take time. There's mostly a group near you though you just have to look.

@nsight123 : You're obviously forgetting that this is FOAM weapon based combat. The weapons are far lighter and have a tendency to bounce off of things. This changes everything completely from normal sword combat. It's not the same, and most of your swordsmanship practices will never work during it.

"4.7.12 - Shield Kicking: Players are allowed to kick shields, provided the kicker keeps one foot on the ground. (No flying kicks!) Shield kicking must be done with regard for the safety of other fighters and will be monitored carefully by the Heralds."
i'm not actually in dagorhir (yet) but i'm interested in joining :D
