all the things that make people say i'm not truly pagan:

I eat meat.

I am registering this year as a conservative.(though i agree with some liberal ideas)

i once called out a pagan for saying that he was a wolf(as in animal) priest in a past life.

there is much more, but i don't have the inclination to type it all. these are just the biggest ones.

@takibisin A wolf priest? Seriously? That is by far the BEST one I have yet heard. That tops the list no matter how many Merlin's and ancient priestesses I run into. I just wish I had been there. That is just awesome.

You are 100% correct on this. I was told I wasn't truly Pagan because I wasn't a feminist.

You can let folks believe what they want BUT you don't have to swallow what the dish out at you.

I totally agree, were not Borg, lol, a collective with one mind, no, we are individuals. We have our OWN minds, bodies, and souls. No individuals opinion should anyone elses. Great video...

You are totally correct. I always have said "an open mind is not an EMPTY mind." One doesn't have to be an empty vessel and beleive ALL things are true just to "get along."

You're right about 'tripe." Anyone can certainly believe you or I or our neighbor is going to hell, and may say so, but we are not required to believe that. The opposite of those kinds of people are NOT the refusal to believe in ANYTHING, however.

Those who say they don't believe in "dogma" are dogmatic sometimes.

I believe that you go around agreeing with everything and support every new thought that comes along then to me that shows you HAVE NO BELIEFS. It is impossible to go for everything that comes your way. It makes no sense. Great video topic. Blessings.

@athairfiachdubh it was interesting to say the least. the sad part is that is the same guy that is dating my friends sister. i feel sorry for her. granted this is also the same guy that used to talk about curses and hexes like they were an everyday thing. Don't get me wrong, i believe that magic exists in this world, however subtle it may be, but the way he talked about it sometimes honestly frightened me.

I love debates where things don't get super heated. I can agree to disagree. Open mindedness to me is being open to possibilities & new ideas. Believing EVERYTHING is being gullible. I'm pretty open minded with past lives go but to an extent. RavensMoonlight1 had an interesting blog post about her past life where she lived in a small village. No one famous, just someone who lived a long time ago & fought in a battle or two. That's easier to believe than if she were to say she was Caesar.
