This was a pvp event the last day before the NGE was released, this event took place on the Sunrunner Server and is a very memorable one. Put together my myself, or ingame name MOX (xomm now for other online games).
The event was one of the largest during the CU and brought many players together for one last battle, and a battle unlike any other. There were AT-AT, AT-ST, ships dropping troops and reanforcements, destrucable walls and bridges being built, was like your own first player RTS game.

i played swg for 8 yrs cant believe its gone pre cu was awesome i miss it but unfortunately assholes like SOE didnt care

@plaidchuck Exactly (about the last part). TOR isn't even really a good MMO. You just really get errand run quests that don't mean anything the next hour and in no way advance the story line. They should have kept SWG online and made KotOR III.

Looked like a good game in the beginning before the changes, i.e. a good balance between star wars content in the spirit of an MMORPG. I knew I should have picked it up way back then, but waited and never got it later because the new changes gave it horrible reviews.
Now there's TOR but that looks like basically a co-op KOTOR game rather than an MMORPG.
