after the decline of any ancient empire, we don't see the loss of most of their technology. that's entirely presumptuous. in fact, what we usually see is the remnants of their culture, language and technologies spread throughout the surrounding regions.
and just about all conspiracy theorists claim to have their work "the highest academic standards" and "backed by solid scientific facts". helps their book sales to the gullible.

it is certainly not a good idea to allow that religious books are at all historically true.

apart from anyone's own ancesters, humans do not know WHO we are or WHERE we came from. now they have celts in china. and greek machines etc. One step forward and two steps back we should have flying cars by now....oh and that free light in our homes thing too.

Where to even begin here? The book of revelation of Jesus Christ written in 1486!!!! Then we must erase all of the historical critiques made about the book by very real historical people who lived since the early 2nd century A.D. And the fact of these peoples existance is not questioned by anyone, except maybe this author. I can't explain how ridiculous this is. Come on 1485! Around the 1st millenium A.D. Europeans thought the arrival of Huns and the reconquest of Jerusalem were signs of the end

It's possible us welsh sailed to Mobile bay in Alabama in the 1200s... Even the natives spoke welsh-words, and there were white skinned natives, forts and welsh armour... I don't see that going into the history books then? :(

Wouldn't it be shocking and exciting if we had to rewrite everything we knew about events past? Totally cool, right? Yeah well, I don't see it happening.

Aye, the koran is the biggest piece-of-shit of all the major religious works.
Apart from the Mahabharata, of course; that's just fucking CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY.

Hmm...it took me 3 seconds to come up with conclusive proof that this idea is wrong:
DENDROCHRONOLOGY.
Treering dating, allows us to date to within a SEASON when an event happened. We have man-worked pieces of wood, dated by dendrochronology, with roman incriptions and iron nails in, from over 2000 years ago.
So my question is, WHO PUT THE FUCKING NAILS IN THE WOOD?
Roman ALIENS?
HMM?
Fuckwit!

WTF is Kasparov thinking? Did he REALLY write the preface??? If this is true he is officially off my 'favourite ex-soviet person' list.

honestly, can't you or someone read this? Why an electronic voice?

Hmmm...very interesting! I have often had doubts about the official time-line of history.

Radio-carbon method: This much touted method produces reliable dating of objects of organic origin with exactitude of plus minus 1500 years, therefore it is too crude for dating of historical events in the 3000 years timeframe! Initial calibration of this method was made basis artefacts of ancient Egypt already dated by historians on consensual chronology scale -- vicious circle that

The history of humankind happens to be both dramatically different and drastically shorter than generally presumed. Archaeological, dendrochronological, paleographical and carbon methods of dating of ancient sources and artifacts are both non-exact and contradictory, actually there is not a single piece of firm written evidence or artifact that could be reliably and independently dated earlier than the XI century.
