The commercially made record of this was one of those rare things in the record business, a double-sided hit; the other side being "At Last" which most of us know in the Etta James version.
Another example of this would be Billie Holiday's "Strange Fruit" with "Fine And Mellow" also being a hit but admittedly this is something rather rare in the music business.

@TheSierraCuban Romero was terrific; acting was his second career; he originally started his adult working life on New York's Wall Street.

@gtmodelt INDEED......César Romero is seen here at the piano, and the great singer Tex Beneke comes around and shuffles his music papers....Ha, ha.....César Romero admitted many times that he was the ILLEGITIMATE grandson of Cuba's greatest national hero José Martí, ( 1853-1895 ) César himself was not born in Cuba, but in Brooklyn, New York, in 1907....My name also happens to be César, and I was born in Cuba....Romero was indeed the Joker in the 1960's Batman series....Cheers.

Notice Ceasar Romero AKA "The Joker" from the 60's Batman TV series on the piano and Jackie Gleason on the bass violin at the beginning.

A young Jackie Gleason playing the upright bass! How great! I think that is Caesar Romero on the piano, too.
Good eyes.
