Matthew 19:3-10; Mark 10:1-12 In this message we explore the tragic and painful reality of divorce and remarriage, seeking to understand God's view of divorce and to determine when, if ever, it is acceptable for a Christian who has been divorced to remarry. This sermon attempts to deal with this difficult topic directly and compassionately.

  • @BiGMANJOE32 sadly not many people understand this truth. there are many that are living in adultery and will have to answer to God on judgement day.

  • Do divorce is sin and to remarry while your spouse is alive is ADULTERY

    READ ROMANS CHAPTER 7

  • @BiGMANJOE32 AMEN AND AMEN AND AMEN TO THAT !!!

  • Like many this speaker does an injustice to the Old Testament divorce teaching reiterated by Christ. I n the old King James version the key word in Matthew 19:9 is fornication not immorality. It was referring to a man going in to his bride expecting a virgin only to discover she had hid her fornication from him. If the marriage vows had yet to be fulfilled the man due to his lack of forgiveness or hardness of heart, was permitted to get a certificate of divorce and seek another virgin.

  • Divorce is like death of the heart, you are literally watching your relationship die. I admit this is a sticky topic especially if you are on the business end of serial cheater, it hurts to be with a mate that cheats, every other second.

  • Sorry Dude Marriage is a covenant binding until death there is not enough adultery in the world not enough domestic violence not enough any thing that would crush a spouses desire to be with their mate that would get God to grant a DIVORCE!

ITS TIME THE PASTORS STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND PREACH THE TRUE WORD OF GOD!

  • @SheridanOr

    That about ignorant.

So youre saying that Gods LAW was wrong and Jesus had to fix it ?

WHEN did your idol god get SERIOUS about marriage, friend, because clearly he didnt take it seriously during the ENTIRE Mosaic covenant.

    WRONG !

Jesus DIDNT nullify Deut 24 because there is NOTHING there to nullify!

Deut 24 is a REGULATION to putting away...LAW meant to help EXTIRPATE frivolous putting away, so there is no reason for Jesus to have even questioned it.
