  • what kind of strings you use for these guitars

for resonator specials or standard electrics/acoustics ?

  • @TheBrotherCane standard electric strings usually use a set of .012's

    Thanks!!

  • Too good brother. I think this is my favorite. The tone is superb and even unplugged it sounds great.

  • @shayno7 thanks!!

  • Has an awesome tone. It has a real solid tone and sounds thicker than others I've heard. What's the cone from??

  • @KiddBlues its spun aluminum, has a good sound.

  • @bigdaddysmojo Thank you !

  • BigDaddy, Thanks for the info. I have brass cones now and there certainly is a BIG difference between the two. I'm gonna get me an aluminum one now.

  • @deathsmileyinc mainly cost a piezo is super cheap.. bought in bulk under a buck!! even if you just buy one 2-3$ and an ease of intstallation thing. not that a magnetic is hard, but it does take a little more effort to go magnetic!!

  • hey big daddy, what is your main reason to use piezos instead of magnetic pickups? are they more expensive or do you like the sound better
