The 19th Florida Conference on Recent Advances in Robotics (FCRAR) was held at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, on May 25-26, 2006, and sponsored by FIU's College of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, AUVSI, and ASME FIU Student Section.
The project "Modju-Bot: Extensible Robotic Platform" representing Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) in Melbourne received the Best Project Award. Team members included Jason Schuler, Christine St. Germain, Jamie Toon, Duc Pham, Caleb Slavens, David Wickers, A. J. Nick, Elizabeth Diaz, Oliver Zimmerman, and Bryan Jenks.
