Famous Last Words cover by MCR

I've been taking guitar lessons since January 2005, and I couldn't be happier that I have the gift to play.
In this song, I actually learned the beginning verse by ear, and took it into my guitar teacher and he said it was totally right. (He figured out the rest though, lol.)
But I don't know if anyone will do this, but DO NOT TELL ME if I'm doing anything wrong. If I was doing something wrong in the song, my teacher would've told me (and the majority of you that would tell me haven't even stepped foot inside guitar lessons.)
My worst fear showe up in this video (i dropped my pick when I was playing...oops.)

play it clean, then turn the distortion up 1/3 of the way, thats what MCR uses.
