  • So its been three days now, how are you doing?? I'm rootin' for you!

  • I guess I should make an updated video :P It's going okay so far. I didn't end up doing two days of liquids, I did one and then decided to move to soft proteins on the second day and it seems to be working out for me.. I have lost 2 lbs in 3 days so thats decent :)

  • OMG! I hope everything is ok Laura. I hope this dosent get any worse...Im gonna b on the lookout for this with me, as of yet no signs. Hpwever had been havcing a sharp pain in the right sideof my head/brain area tha has scared me...idk. I havent done blood work either yet, I am 4 months post op. I guess you could say I need to ge my shit tgether!!!

  • get your shit together is right! :P get your ass movin.

I don't know whats going to happen yet.. I stopped my supplements a couple of weeks ago so that this blood work will show exactly what I'm ACTUALLY deficient in.. rather than just assuming I need to take supplements for everything

as for the BP.. ugh. I wish I could fix it but from what I know about hypotension.. not a whole lot that can be done besides staying SUPER hydrated

  • i experience orthostatic hypotension VERY often (>5 times daily) but luckily for me episodes bring euphoria too so it doesnt bother me as much even though ive passed out somewhere between 5 and 7 times. usually my vision goes black/red, i get numb, and i can have seizure-like movements while standing and sometimes my hearing gets distorted (as if im hearing life through a cheap webcam microphone) for up to 5 minutes after but i somehow learned to enjoy my episodes

  • @crazylara and anyone else wondering about orthostatic hypotension

I was told that it becomes more mild as you get older in most cases, but the nurse I talked to who said that she was diagnosed with it said that she still had moments of wooziness.

I don't think you can necessarily CURE it, only lighten the severity of the effects, try keeping water on hand and make sure that if you have to stand for any considerable period of time, that you don't lock your knees, ( that's well known in the wor

  • I know how you feel with the dizziness, I got that alot but thought nothing of it for a long time, but just yesterday, I went to the doctor after fainting on the middle of a choral performance with my school competition choir ( it was our FIRST one too...)

I got diagnosed with it yesterday and am going to have to have water on me at all times since I live in the tropics where it's always hot.
