Second improvised prelude in romantic style. Apologies not on real instrument again. The neighbours do want to kill me!

My early influences: Oscar Peterson, Keith Emerson, George Shearing, soon followed by Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Joe Sample, George Duke. Today I listen to solo piano of Duke Ellington, Earl Hines, Art Tatum, Bud Powell, Dave Brubeck, Lennie Tristano, Cecil Taylor.
My deepest love now lies in the music of Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Lester Young, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, and later of Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, Miles Davis, Stan Getz, John Coltrane supreme?

All my life I have listenned to classical music, mostly from BBC Radio3. These days, I listen almost exclusively to classical music of all periods. I lot of my favourite music lies in Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Wagner, Mahler, Rachmaninov, Liszt, Debussy, Ravel,
Bartok, Janacek, Schoenberg, Stravinsky, Britten. Some of my favourite artists (on piano) are Richter, Rubinstein, Michelangeli, Bolet, Horowitz, Cortot, Arrau, Gould, Brendel, Alicia de Larrocha, Pollini, Perahia, Argerich, Kissin, John Ogdon. (more)

  • Sehr Gut!!!!!

  • Enjoyed it!

  • This is very beautiful. I love the elegant and expressive figuration, and the great freedom and unity the whole piece has. My vocabulary for this style is pretty limited so sorry if it seems clumsy, but I really enjoyed listening to you play.
