@gaylolful yeah totally, and so are lots of people, with the vocal agility, beyonce, dolly parton, christina, and loads of others
i guess what i was commenting on was Mariah's creativity. she makes musical lines with her melisma. her peers are Aretha and Ella. the other showboat in a much more stop and start kind of way, not creating a crafted vocal.
but i wasnt like knocking Whitney's instrument, no doubt
